Trials teach us what we are; they dig up the soil, and let us see what we are made of. ~Charles Spurgeon

The Laodicea Church

One of my favorite things to do is to get deep.  Listen to people talk about deep things and try to add my two cents in.  When it is done in love it can leave you with the feeling of fullness, conviction and challenge.  LOVE THAT!

Last night Neal and I had the opportunity to engage with some good friends on many deep issues and we left blessed, full, yet craving more.

One of the topics we talked about was the church, luke-warmness, mediocrity, middle of the road type of teaching.  It was no accident that I got into my car and heard this message today.

Click on "Show me the map".... then click on #5 (a thermometer is next to the number).  It's the 1st message titled "The disgusting church laodicea"

Father in heaven, give us the discernment we need to be able to see the early warning signs of the laodicea church.  Satan is so sneaky and disguises things so well and it satisfies our wicked heart.  Expose our failing hearts and help us to be able to discern sound biblical doctrine.  Show us the areas fowl to your word Lord.
