Health Care

Has anyone heard of this and what are your thoughts???

  1. Since my dad has always been self-employed, we never had insurance growing up. For a few years we had "insurance" through the "Christian Brotherhood Newsletter" which was a group of Christians who helped insure one another through this network if major needs were necessary. I remember giving the card at my Gyno appt. because they asked for my insurance card. I was only 16 and had no idea how insurance worked but I was given the run down at that appt that this particular insurance was not going to cut it :-) I'd have to ask my parents more specifically about the positives and negatives of the Christian Insurance Network and get back to you.

  2. Thanks Cindy! I guess with this particular coverage you do not have a card to present to the docs office. You just state that you are self pay. A lot of the time now the docs already have a self pay negotiated price. Let me know what your parents liked and disliked. See you soon girl!!
